Temporary Skill Shortage Visa
This temporary visa allows an employer to sponsor a suitably skilled worker to fill a position for which they cannot find a suitably skilled Australian candidate. Basic eligibility requires being nominated for a skilled position by an approved sponsor, possessing the necessary skills to perform the job, and meeting the relevant English language requirements.
Temporary Skill Shortage visa (subclass 482)
This visa enables employers to address labor shortages by bringing in skilled workers when they are unable to find an appropriately skilled Australian worker. The occupation must be listed on the short-term skilled occupations list. With this visa, you can work in Australia for up to 2 years or up to 4 years if an International Trade Obligation (ITO) applies.
