Temporary Graduate visa

This temporary visa enables international students to live, study, and work in Australia after completing their studies. To be eligible, you must be under 50 years of age, hold an eligible visa, have held a student visa within the last 6 months, and possess a recent qualification from a CRICOS-registered course. You must nominate one stream only, as changing visa streams after applying is not permitted, and you must attach the specified evidence when you apply.

Temporary Graduate visa (subclass 485)

This visa is for international students who have recently graduated with qualifications relevant to specific occupations needed in Australia. It allows applicants to live, study, and work in Australia temporarily for up to 18 months. Applicants can work in Australia and bring their families with them. They must hold a qualification relevant to their nominated occupation on the skilled occupation list. This stream is for applicants meeting the Australian study requirement with an associate degree, diploma, or trade qualification only. Hong Kong and British National Overseas passport holders may stay for 5 years.
