This visa allows international students to come to Australia for educational purposes and enroll in a course of study. While holding this visa, you will be allowed to stay up to 5 years and in line with your enrolment. The duration of your stay will depend on the type and length of the course you are enrolled in. You are also allowed to travel in and out of Australia and work up to 48 hours a fortnight when your course of study or training is in session.
You can also include family members when you submit your visa application. For student visas, eligible family members include your partner and/or your partner's dependent child who is unmarried and under 18 years of age.
To qualify for this visa you must:

Apply online from either within or outside Australia.

Be enrolled in a course of study in Australia.

Hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) or qualify for an exemption.

Be at least 6 years old.

Provide evidence of a welfare arrangement if you are under 18.
