Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa (subclass 191)

This visa offers the opportunity for individuals who have resided and worked in designated regional areas of Australia on an eligible visa to permanently settle and work in Australia. Applicants are required to have adhered to the conditions of their eligible visa. Sponsorship or nomination is not necessary for this visa. However, applicants must have held an eligible visa for a minimum of 3 years and have complied with its conditions. Additionally, they must have maintained taxable income at or above a specified threshold for at least 3 years while holding their eligible visa.

Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa (subclass 191)

This visa allows eligible holders of Hong Kong or British National (Overseas) passports who have shown dedication to Australia to permanently reside and work in the country. To qualify, applicants must possess either a Hong Kong passport or a British National (Overseas) passport. Unlike some visas, sponsorship or nomination is not required. However, applicants must meet specific visa and residence requirements to be eligible for consideration.
