Carer Visa
This permanent visa allows you to relocate to Australia to provide care for someone with a long-term medical condition who lacks reasonable access to care options in the country. With this visa, you are entitled to relocate to or remain in Australia as a permanent resident, engage in work and study activities in Australia, and travel to and from Australia for a period of 5 years.
To be eligible for this visa, you must apply from outside Australia and remain outside the country during the application process and decision-making. You must also obtain sponsorship from your relative or their partner for your initial 2 years in Australia. Lastly, you must offer care for a relative or a member of their family residing with them who lacks reasonable access to care options in Australia.
