This permanent visa enables a single elderly individual to reside in Australia if they depend on a relative living in Australia for financial support. With this visa, you can reside in Australia permanently as a permanent resident. You can also sponsor eligible relatives to immigrate to Australia and eventually apply for Australian citizenship if you meet the eligibility criteria.
To be eligible for this visa, you must apply from within Australia, but not during immigration clearance. You must also be sponsored by your relative or your relative's partner.
