This permanent visa enables a single elderly individual to reside in Australia if they depend on a relative living in Australia for financial support. With this visa, you can reside in Australia permanently as a permanent resident. You can also sponsor eligible relatives to immigrate to Australia and eventually apply for Australian citizenship if you meet the eligibility criteria.
To qualify for this visa, you must apply from outside Australia and remain outside the country during the application process. Furthermore, you need sponsorship from your relative or your relative's partner.
